• Is your school prepared for the 2020 Arts Curriculum? Here is what you need to know.

There’s less than half the year to go before Queensland Educators will need to be fully prepared to teach the 2020 Australian Curriculum in Queensland.

As a teacher myself, I know how time poor you are trying to get through all components of the curriculum. That is exactly why I started Dance Cart, to take all the hassle out of implementing a major component of The Arts: Dance.

With up to a compulsory 50 hours allocated for some year levels, we can assist your school in the following ways.

    • External Resources to help assess and introduce dance into every day classroom learning.
    • Our professional development days’ help bring teachers up to speed with current requirements, assessments, dance activities and best practice to keep kids engaged through dance. Register your interest here.
    • Finally, our most popular program – Our Performance Program.

    ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

Over an 8-10 week period, each week the students will explore and develop dance taught by an experienced QCT registered teacher.  It culminates in a full concert performance with script, costumes, choreography and props for the entire school community to enjoy.  Dance Cart also assesses each student in line with the implementation of Australian Curriculum in Queensland.
